A finished Short looks like a minute of content. Its receipts tell a longer story: images I tried, lines I recorded again and characters I’m preparing for later episodes.

A call is often just a line

There are 2,103 voice calls and 455 image calls in the record. Those aren’t finished videos. A call might produce a sentence, a new take or one visual. Counting calls as output would make the production look much bigger than it is.

Some costs also belong to preparation: a character, a channel’s artwork or a voice test that may serve several episodes. Dividing the full bill by the public video count would mix that setup work with episode production.

What’s missing from this bill

$60.51 is logged in the receipts and $16.33 is estimated. My time, hosting and other subscriptions aren’t included. The next useful number is the cost of an accepted episode, including its retries. I don’t have that breakdown yet.
